I don’t know if I can say enough about my love for my Kindle. I’m quite positive friends and family are sick of hearing me talk about it, but I just cannot help it.
Initially, I was hesitent to want to purchase a Kindle. I wasn’t pleased with the idea of having to repurchase the books in my library that I knew I would continue to reread. I did like the idea of not having to have so many book shelves. You cannot argue that the Kindle is a space saver.
I received my Kindle for a Christmas gift. The first thing I can say that impressed me with my Kindle is how much the screen when you are reading looks like a book page! I was not expecting that. I love that the battery life typically lasts through a few books so I don’t feel tied to a power cord which is not conducive to my reading habits. I am head over heals in love with the dictionary feature in which I can bring the cursor down (with the use of the joystick like small button) and find out what a word means! No more looking up words in an online dictionary for me (which is a pain). I love that the Kindle can hold SO MANY books. Hello FREE 3G connection?!!
Although I do love the smell of a book store and reading a good paperback, I’m willing to mostly give up on those things for the ease and amazing features of a K
